Powerman 5000

This is an idea I have for a short story. I listened to powerman 5000's when worlds collide and got the lyrics and basically wrote down a sotry outline to go with it. It seems a bit Tim Burton Corpse Bride-ish, but oh well. Me writing a short story is amazing.

She dies and is confused. She has everything under control (obsessive). Worried that there is no life after death. She can’t get back to where every one else is basically she can’t wake up. He asks her if she’s got a brain left (maggot) because the life she had is gone she’s now dead. She wasn’t living her life fully before. Man decides he’s taking over and he is her guide to the underworld thus when worlds collide. Asking if she’s ready to go on a roller coaster. He has to wait for her to say she’s ready though so he’s asking her what she’s gonna do. It’s the end of all time because when you die time stops for you. He asks her what motivates her to be in such a furry all the time a need to not stop or a need to keep moving. They get in the cart and he goes with her but when they find people everyone of ten people but one will drop dead or fake half on one side half on the other. Decide which side is light and which is dark. Dark people one left, light all gone. (Symbolism of what you think is right isn’t always.) She can’t decide so he offers to guide her some more. They hand pick them one by one. When they’re done they have to continue on and he wants to know again what she’ll decide because no matter what he will go with her but she doesn’t have to follow him. He asks her what it really means them falling over? Those that are light do not always win out. Those that are dark are sometimes light. He’s taking over and this is what happens when worlds collide

She wakes and sees the world anew. She drops her religious fanaticism and slows down relaxing. She understands now. Life is for living and one day she would meet the man, death, again.

Having fun much? I can see you've taken this rather to extremes of creepy. With a name like Erin, it has to be good, right?

In any case, it's odd and weird and bizarrely sectioned and totally you. Amazing. I don't particularly like it, but that may because I've never heard the song. Maybe.

Write on.

Felicia.
